The graphic designer celebrates his 20th anniversary with the company Bicester
A senior designer who completed a week of work experience while studying his craft at art school celebrated 20 years working for the same company.
Terry Sansome joined Bicester-based brand and design agency MicroGraphix in 2002 after completing an undergraduate degree in graphic design at De Montfort University.
Mr. Sansome’s passion for his craft was sparked in his youth when he designed football kits in his spare time.
Today, he works with clients in the automotive, technology and real estate industries to help companies define and promote their brands through intelligent design strategies.
Mr. Sansome said, “It is fantastic to be part of the growth and success of MicroGraphix.
“We’re like one big family, and the positive working relationships and friendships I’ve made over my 20 years with the company have been key to my time here.
“I’ve always had a creative flair and becoming a graphic designer was something I aspired to when I was younger.
“I wouldn’t describe myself as a good artist, but design and problem solving are my strengths.
“The key to the company’s success over the years has been our passion for what we do.

“Growing our clients’ audience and revenue through creative brand promotion is at the heart of what we do, and it can be a lot of fun.
“I have met and worked with many people over the past 20 years, it has been quite a journey since I walked through the doors of our office as a young enthusiast looking for work experience.”
Terry joined MicroGraphix after working for a short time at Oxford as a junior designer.
Mr Sansome said: “The industry has changed a lot since I arrived. When I started, the technology we are so used to today was still relatively new.
“The equipment and software we use today enables us to deliver faster, better and bigger results across a range of platforms from print and packaging to digital media and social.
“They have developed a much more efficient way of working, which allows us designers to take our creation to new levels.
“It’s a great feeling to know that your work has a direct impact on a client and their business.
“I look forward to continuing in this role for many years to come.”
Based in studios on the Rowood Estate near Murdock Road, MicroGraphix’s services include graphic design, branding, website design, photography and video.
MicroGraphix Director Mike Linzey added, “Terry is an integral part of our loyal and hardworking team and has been instrumental in our development both locally and nationally.”
