NY Now recruits a Creative Director
Interior designer Brad For has been named Creative Director of NY Now.
WHITE PLAINS, NY – NY Now has appointed a creative director for the show, the first step in its plans to renew its biannual market.
Brad Ford, a New York-based interior designer, will work alongside the NY Now team to advise on product themes to be included in their promotions and at the show and will advise on the experience and environment on instead, Tim Hart, senior vice president of NY Now, told HFN.
“We believe there is an opportunity to create a more thoughtful, thoughtful experience in a large-scale market and we felt Brad’s experience is the perfect fit to help us do that,” Hart said.
A vocal champion of independent craftsmen and manufacturers with a focus on well-designed products, Ford has a history of creating space and opportunity for designers throughout its 25-plus-year career.
In addition to its own design studio, which focuses on stately residential spaces, Ford continues to operate Field + Supply, a modern manufacturers’ show and online retailer that celebrates the talented craftsmen of the Hudson Valley; as well as FAIR, a showroom in the New York Design Center that serves as a destination for designers seeking high-end, high-end design and craftsmanship while providing a base for emerging artists and famous.

The next NY Now Market will be held August 8-11, 2021 at the Jacob Javits Center in New York City.
