“Monday Night Football”: How To Watch The Raiders Vs The Chargers
Happy Monday everyone. With no MLB games, no WNBA playoffs and the NBA and the NHL still in preseason mode, this is a sports day about as sleepy as you will have in the fall. Fortunately, we have a large Monday night football clash between two surprising teams in the West to hold us back before a big week in the world of sport.
Here’s what to watch tonight.

Las Vegas Raiders vs Los Angeles Chargers
The AFC West has been one of the most entertaining divisions in the NFL so far, mainly thanks to the play of these two teams. The Raiders are off to a surprising 3-0 start thanks to a flair for the dramatic, scoring two thrilling overtime wins over the Ravens and Dolphins for their best start to the season since 2002. Meanwhile, Justin Herbert has continued to sway. to affirm. as one of the sport’s best young quarterbacks with a strong start under new coach Brandon Staley. He beat Patrick Mahomes at Arrowhead Stadium last week in a huge win for the Chargers’ playoff prospects.
It should be an emotional and physical divisive clash with a lot of offense. It’s a pretty good way to spend a Monday night… although we can’t watch the Manning Brothers plays at the same time this week.
8:15 p.m. ET, ESPN, watch on fuboTV
- Boston Bruins vs. Philadelphia Flyers | We’re just over a week away from the start of the NHL regular season, but the pre-season action is here to hold us back. The Bruins have just played an entertaining overtime game against the Rangers, so hopefully more fun is in store tonight in Philly. 7 p.m. ET, NHL Network, watch on fuboTV
- Chicago Blackhawks vs. Detroit Red Wings | Enemies from the Midwest face off in Detroit, where the Red Wings have a 3-1 start in preseason action after a poor 2020-21 campaign. 7:30 p.m. ET, ESPN +
- Golden State Warriors at Portland Trail Blazers | The stars attended the Lakers-Nets preseason opener last night, but we could see Stephen Curry as the Warriors open their preseason roster in Portland. Damian Lillard is expected to have his workload carefully managed this preseason, but could play in Chauncey Billups’ coaching debut. 10 p.m. ET, NBA TV, watch on fuboTV
- Ted lasso | The penultimate episode of Season 2 came out on Friday, but if you’re like me, you haven’t watched yet due to the busy sports weekend. It might be a good day to catch up. Apple TV +
Atlanta Hawks at Miami Heat
Two probable Eastern Conference playoff teams open their preseason rosters tonight in Miami. It’s always a little difficult to form an overall opinion based on preseason games, but it should be interesting to see Kyle Lowry’s debut in Miami after more than 600 games and a championship in Toronto. The Hawks will be shorthanded tonight without Kevin Huerter and Clint Capela, but hopefully we get plenty of highlights from Trae Young after his explosive run through the playoffs last season.
7:30 p.m. ET, NBA TV, watch on fuboTV
