Huawei has started rolling out a stable EMUI 12 software update for the Mate 40 Pro smartphone in the global market. This software rollout is noted alongside the Huawei P40 series devices which now also have access to the latest version of EMUI 12. Yet availability is a major concern for consumers as the program is sure to expand gradually.

As reported by Huaweiblog, the stable EMUI 12 for Huawei Mate 40 Pro comes with EMUI version 12.0.0.218. Since this is a major software update, you might need to download a gigabyte size software package through the OTA method. Therefore, it is recommended to use a WiFi connection, so that it does not consume your mobile data.

All things aside, EMUI 12 brings a bunch of new features and the changelog of this software update is sure to be a hit with Huawei Mate 40 Pro users. How to download this deployment?

Just go to your phone, open Settings, tap System & Updates, then Software Updates. From there, click “CHECK FOR UPDATES”, the phone will check for software updates. Once available, the system will display the software update information and inform you that the software is ready to be downloaded, then click on DOWNLOAD AND INSTALL.
