Game Day Live Blog: Pitt in Louisville | Thu 14

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – After escaping Atlanta with a road victory over Georgia Tech, Louisville’s men’s basketball program makes a brief comeback at KFC Yum! Center, welcoming Pitt for their first home game of the New Year.
The Cardinals topped the Yellow Jackets at their lowest, topping them 34-25 and totaling 36 points in the paint. Louisville also got another fantastic performance from Malik Williams, as he recorded a 20-point / 10-rebound double-double.
As for the Panthers, the season has been anything but fluid. Pitt is arguably the worst high-profile college basketball team, as their KenPom ranking of 180th is dead last among the top six conferences in Division I (Power Five and Big East).
