Terreform ONE is looking for a multi-faceted architect and excellent design thinker with an aspiration to work on site-specific projects ranging from large-scale structures to living material facades. We are an international, not-for-profit research team of architects, designers, fabricators and scientists who collaborate in unison on complex, bespoke projects.

The ideal candidate has experience in all aspects of the design process, from initial concept sketches to constructing green/IT building systems. We are looking for self-starters to work in our NEW LAB space at Brooklyn Navy Yard. Be someone who breathes imagination, is collaborative, communicative, trustworthy and embraces experimentation.

Terms:

• Phenomenal design sensitivities and technical digital skills.

• Excellent verbal and graphic communication skills.

• 3 to 5 years minimum of professional experience in various types of projects.

• Professional degree from an accredited school of architecture, M. Arch preferred.

• Exceptional working knowledge of Rhino/Grasshopper, Adobe suite, 3D modeling software and understanding of various digital manufacturing methods.

• Friendly and positive attitude, resilient work ethic, productive and motivated.

The position is full-time and the salary is commensurate with experience. Our working hours are reasonable and flexible.
