Apple users seem hesitant to upgrade to iOS 15 / Digital Information World
Apple often updates its operating system because it’s the kind of thing that could potentially allow it to continue to optimize the services it can provide and its users are able to enjoy. Most iPhone users upgrade to the latest version of iOS quickly, and if you buy the latest iPhone, you’ll get that version of iOS pre-installed.
However, one thing that many are starting to realize about iOS 15 is that users seem less eager to install it with everything considered and considered. In 2020, 72% of iPhone users had upgraded to iOS 14 by December, just two months after the initial launch of this operating system. If you look at the numbers for iOS 15, it turns out that only 63% of devices capable of running it seem to have it.
With all of that said and now out of the way, it’s important to note that it’s likely not associated with any issues with the operating system itself. Rather, it might have something to do with aesthetic changes that have been made, such as Safari moving its search bar to the bottom of the UI rather than the top, which many users didn’t seem love at all. so much.
Anyway, if you ignore the millions of iPhone 13s that have been sold, it seems pretty obvious that there’s a huge problem here when it comes to iOS 15 upgrade rates. People who currently use iOS 14 don’t seem to like the idea of the changes that iOS 15 brings, and that might cause Apple to rethink its strategy when it comes time to release iOS 16 later this year.
